Hi all,
we are finally back in Utah for good. Yeah!!! We have had so much fun in Spokane and are sad to leave all of it behind, but are excited to start our new adventures here. I finally have access to a computer and the Internet so I will be a better blogger. This is just a quick hi, I will blog some new posts later.

Yeah, we know, it's been a while since we actually updated this blog thingy. Leslie asked me to throw on a few new pics of our little girl. So here you go.

She is a literal ball of energy; the girl won't hold still. If she is awake, then she is getting into something.

A few pics from last fall that I thought were blog-worthy.

We thought this picture of Lyla and her cousin Jaylee was hilarious, so we framed it and gave it to my mom for Christmas.

Lyla said to send this picture specifically to her Uncle Ty. I'm not sure why?

Family pictures with Leslie's family over the holidays.

The mullet is awesome, I know.

I figured that most people probably check this blog to see how my hunts went last fall (sarcasm intended); so since I am the one doing the update, I'll embarrass Leslie and post a picture of my Washington Whitetail (and a moose shed that Lyla found and wanted to pose with the other day).

Hi everyone, yes I am finally updating my blog. I have a very nice friend (Ashley) who helps me out, She also took these CUTE pictures of Lyla for me. We have all been doing well and Lyla is growing up so fast. She now says da-da and if you can imagine dad was very proud. I guess if I get to have most of the neat experiences first Ry can have this one. lol Lyla is sitting up and rolling over really well now and she is always such a happy girl. I am so blessed to have her in my life and I love being a mom. We went to Greenbluff on Saturday with some friends and that is where Ashley took the pictures. Lyla has slept in our room until a few days ago and it has been a little hard for me to let her sleep in the other room even though she sleeps better. Silly mom I know. I have to check on her all the time I am such a nerd. i don't know what I am going to do when she goes to school, I will probably be that dorky mom the can't leave, crying in the corner. boo hoo. My brother Brent is coming home from his mission on the first of November and I am so excited for him to meet Lyla. Lyla ate green beans today for the first time and she did very well no gagging or any funny faces. Well I know I am bad at blogging so I will do my best to be better but no promises. xoxo hugs and kisses xoxo

A Few New Pics Of This Cute Girl

I thought I would get on here real quick and post a couple of new pics of little Lyla. Everything is going well. We did have a little scare last week; we had to take her back to the hospital to get her jaundice levels under control. She had to stay under the lights and get hooked up to an IV for a few days; but is doing much better now. Take Care

Baby Lyla is finally here!

I thought I had better get on here while Leslie and Lyla are both fast asleep recovering, and post a few pics of our new little girl. Leslie and Lyla are both doing great. Lyla was delivered yesterday afternoon at 1:14, after five hours of labor. Leslie did great; she was quite the trooper, I was proud of her. I guess I had better give the final stats, as is usually everyone's first question: 7 pounds 4 ounces - 20 inches long. We couldn't be happier, she is just beautiful.

Baby Lyla Is Now 7 Months!!!

I am 30 weeks along now and we are so excited for our little girl to get here. We were able to get a 3D ultrasound and it was so amazing. We love seeing her every chance we get. She loves to move around and dance and Ryan has fun watching my whole stomach move. She weighs a little over 3 pounds now and the ultrasound tec. told us that her feet were about 2 1/2 in. long. Being pregnant is such a miracle. I feel so blessed to have Lyla in our lives. It is amazing how much I learn from her even though she is still inside of me. I am getting bigger, as you can tell, and I can safely bet that by the time she is due I will be very big. lol

We love you all and look forward to seeing you in the summer.

xoxo,

Ryan, Leslie, and Baby Lyla

Christmas Work Party

Ryan and I also went to my work party during our Christmas vacation. It was great to catch up with everyone that we haven't seen in a while.

Fun At The Cabin

We went to the cabin over our Christmas vacation and had a blast. Ryan and Tyler had fun skiing and snowboarding, and all the brothers had fun snowmobilling. We took my brother Daniel with us and Daniel and I did a little bit of snowshoeing. We had a great time as we always do.

Yes, we are still blogging

Hi all you faithful bloggers. If you are reading this thanks for your long time support. I will do better I promise. So to catch you up on our lives, lets start in September. We went to Pig Out in the Park with some friends. That should be a self explaining title. We decided to get a pork burrito and by the time we took a few bites we realized that there was no pork in it. Yum only vinegar rice and lettuce. By the time we tried to find the pork we were half way done with the dang thing. Oh well, what do you do but laugh.

This is what Ryan looked like one night after he went for a bike ride. Yum how do those bugs taste Ry? Crazy !!! He came home covered in bugs.

Now on to October... We started out by carving pumpkins and Ryan did an amazing job on his deer. I had fun eating the pumpkin seeds and watching him work so hard.

Then we were invited to a Halloween party at the Hatch's house. I dressed up as a rocker and we gave Ryan a mullet. It was so funny, but Gross. I actually put real extensions in his hair.

We went to the Hendrickson's house for Thanksgiving and had a great meal. They barbequed the turkey and it was wonderful. We ate until our pants had to be undone, and then all took naps.

The day after Thanksgiving Ryan was a good sport and went shopping with me at 5:30 in the morning. We went to JoAnn's and then to the mall. Then that night we went down to Coeur d' Alene and watched the fireworks. They have fireworks like it is the 4th of July, but better. They let them off over the lake and they show them to Christmas music, we love it. After the fireworks they light up the resort and everything is so beautiful. We had a great time.

Well to wrap things up, we are pregnant and we went to the doc. today and found out that we are having a little girl. We are so excited. Everything looked good and we are already talking about names. We hope you all are having a wonderful Holiday season, we will talk to you all soon.
XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOX

Love,

Ryan & Leslie

I almost forgot, I had better say something about Ryan's first whitetail, or he would be upset that I left it out of my blog. After a lot of time and effort scouting in the summer, and hunting in the fall, Ryan was able to shoot this whitetail deer on the last day of his hunting season.
